The revolution in tourism – how to reach a customer through their smartphone?

According to the “Tourists in 2019” report created by Spicy Mobile, every second (51%) Pole surveyed admits to using a smartphone to book hotels, flights, or rental cars during holiday trips. In comparison, the same approach is declared by 11% of Britons, 31% of Austrians, and 40% of Germans.
Mobile application as the answer to the needs of a modern customer
This trend led one of our clients, an international consulting firm specializing in marketing and innovation management, to ask us for technological support.
The project aimed to develop a mobile application before a functioning back-end was created, based on preliminary technical specifications. The project was also not made any easier by the need to incorporate frequent changes to the graphic design.
As part of this cooperation, we created a mobile application available for iOS and Android operating systems that allows:
quick search and booking of electric cars for rent in Germany,
finding your way to the chosen car,
checking status and price of the car,
showing charging stations located in the vicinity of the user.
We are increasingly willing to use the technological innovations offered to us, and smartphones have become our best friends. Companies that want to achieve success and generate high revenues must first reach into the pockets of their customers, namely into their phones. That is the only way to meet the needs of today’s consumers, and there is no sign of the situation changing.
