Introduction

G2A is one of the world’s largest marketplaces for game keys and digital products. As the platform’s growth accelerated and new regulatory requirements were introduced, G2A needed to strengthen its development teams to deliver new features without slowing down the pace of innovation. To meet these challenges, the company began working closely with Euvic. The goal was to improve performance, scalability, and compliance on one of the world’s most traffic-intensive e-commerce platforms. The result was a successful partnership that combined technical expertise, agile delivery, and seamless integration. 

Challenge

To keep pace with rapid business growth and new regulatory requirements, G2A needed to extend its existing teams. The goal was to deliver new functionalities for one of the world’s largest gaming e-commerce platforms. Without disrupting ongoing development. 

 

Key requirements included: 

  • Meeting strict deadlines for legally required features. 
  • Improving performance, scalability, and SEO across the platform. 
  • Enhancing overall product quality and speeding up delivery cycles. 

 

The challenge was not only technical but organizational: integrating external expertise seamlessly into G2A’s in-house teams and workflows. 

Solution

To meet these goals, we formed a dedicated team of four developer-QA pairs, fully integrated into G2A’s existing organization and agile processes. Working side-by-side with G2A engineers, we adopted their internal tools and homegrown technologies to ensure smooth collaboration and consistency. 

 

Our responsibilities covered both backend and frontend development, including: 

  • Building new microservices, such as seller profile management. 
  • Enhancing the core engine powering G2A’s microfrontends used across the entire platform. 
  • Implementing comprehensive automated testing to ensure reliability and speed up releases. 
  • Delivering new customer-facing features like key redemption, directly improving the end-user experience. 

 

Technology stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, RabbitMQ, Azure, Cypress, and Magento. 

 

Through daily stand-ups, continuous delivery pipelines, and close communication with G2A’s product and engineering teams, we maintained a high development velocity while ensuring quality and compliance. 

Result

The collaboration led to measurable improvements across multiple dimensions: 

  • Several new microservices were successfully implemented and deployed into production. 
  • Platform SEO and overall performance improved significantly, increasing visibility and responsiveness. 
  • Automated testing strengthened product quality and reduced release risks. 
  • New customer features enhanced the user experience and engagement. 
  • Crucially, all deadlines for law-mandated features were met, ensuring full compliance without disruption to business operations.
