Tikla Gelsin modernizes its platform for global growth in online ordering

tikla

Tikla Gelsin is a Turkish food delivery platform operated by TFI TAB Food Investments, the fourth largest restaurant chain in the world.

Client:

Tikla Gelsin

Introduction

At a time when digital food ordering is growing exponentially, Tikla Gelsin, a rapidly expanding Turkish delivery platform, needed to take the next step toward global scalability. As the platform’s user base grew rapidly, Tikla Gelsin embarked on a journey to modernize its technical foundation and prepare for large-scale global expansion. To meet the increasing demand and manage thousands of restaurants worldwide in a unified manner, the company began a close collaboration with Euvic. The result was a modern, flexible, and future-proof platform that combines speed, security, and a smooth user experience. Built for global growth.

Challenge

With a fast-growing network of restaurants and brands, Tikla Gelsin faced the need to modernize and scale their mobile food ordering platform.

The key objectives included:

  • Scaling from approximately 1,500 restaurants to tens of thousands across multiple brands.
  • Modernizing a legacy codebase to accelerate feature delivery.
  • Enabling real-time integration with diverse restaurant systems for location, pricing, and menu management.
  • Building a flexible and secure admin panel aligned with organizational roles and responsibilities.

At the same time, the internal engineering team had deep mobile development expertise but limited experience with microfrontend and cloud-native architectures. Tikla Gelsin therefore sought a trusted partner who could handle infrastructure and architectural transformation while enabling their teams to stay focused on the customer-facing product.

Solution

Euvic formed a shoulder-to-shoulder partnership with Tikla Gelsin’s in-house engineers to design and implement a scalable, future-ready architecture.

The solution was built on a microservices and microfrontends strategy, enabling independent deployment, faster iteration, and clear separation of concerns across modules. The teams adopted Agile Scrum with two-week sprints, ensuring rapid progress and continuous alignment.

Key solution elements included:

  • A new admin panel with forms, dashboards, tables, and fine-grained access control.
  • A unified order processing system serving as a single source of truth across web and mobile applications.
  • Support for hierarchical user permissions, internationalization, and multiple brand configurations.
  • Integrated campaign management, analytics, and accounting modules.
  • An embedded security architecture leveraging .NET authentication and authorization.

Technology: Built with React, .NET, Azure, and modern microservices/microfrontend frameworks.

Result

The transformation delivered tangible business and technical outcomes:

  • Scalability: The platform now supports tens of thousands of restaurants across multiple brands and markets.
  • Operational efficiency: Unified systems and automation improved management and performance for TFI’s global brands.
  • Speed to market: Onboarding new restaurants and brands became faster, driving growth in both customer base and revenue.
  • Engineering excellence: Euvic’s collaboration elevated development standards, code quality, and DevOps maturity.
  • User experience: End customers benefit from smooth browsing, ordering, payment, and delivery coordination.
  • Strategic value: Tikla Gelsin strengthened its position as a leading player in digital retail and restaurant technology.
