Euvic Talks: Resource Management - Does It Even Pay Off?

This episode of Euvic Talks is dedicated to resource management in IT outsourcing and the role of the General Business Operations area within a tech organization.

The discussion focuses on practical skills management in a project-based model, where workload fluctuations, staff turnover, and time pressure are part of everyday life. We cover how to plan team availability, how to create development paths for employees in an outsourcing environment, and how to align business needs with responsibility for people.

Topics covered in this episode include:

  • how resource management operates in an outsourcing company from an operational perspective,

  • when working with an outsourcing partner makes business sense,

  • how to prepare an organization for such collaboration to avoid skill gaps and project delays,

  • which factors truly affect collaboration quality and project delivery speed,

  • to what extent AI tools can support resource management processes and where human involvement remains essential.

The episode demonstrates that resource management is not just administrative management of people’s availability but a deliberate approach to building operational predictability, project stability, and long-term value for the organization.
