Tell us about yourself and your previous experience?
My name is Henrik Eklund and I am the father of two wonderful daughters. Clara, 14, and Julia, 10. I have been married to my wife and life partner Sofia for 19 years. As a person, I would describe myself as a loyal friend who you can turn to in times of need and joy, and someone who is always interested in “why.” I believe that you can never learn too much. More questions lead to better understanding and increased knowledge.
I am basically trained as a commercial pilot but have been working in B2B sales for 24 years. Sales is something I am really passionate about, as it creates opportunities for new relationships and gives me the chance to help my customers solve their challenges.
What attracted you most about joining Euvic?
When my friend and former colleague, Richard Hammarström, got in touch and suggested we work together again, it felt like the perfect opportunity. I saw the chance to return to an industry where the development opportunities are endless, and also knew that the leadership here at Euvic suits me very well.
In your role as a commercial manager, what are you most looking forward to contributing?
I look forward to contributing with a strong drive and a great commitment to doing business that benefits both the customer and Euvic. At the same time, I hope to spread positive energy, come in with a smile, and contribute to an even better atmosphere in the office.
How do you view the technology of the future, what do you think we will be talking about in 5-10 years?
I think we will talk a lot about how we work with AI as a natural and executive tool, in combination with effective data management.
What do you think defines a proactive partner?
For me, a proactive partner is someone who actually schedules time to work proactively. Someone who humbly sees the challenges they face and identifies what could be even better, even if things aren’t bad at the moment.
What does “The Good People” mean to you?
For me, “The Good People” is about being in an environment where you can be yourself and surrounded by colleagues who mean well and are driven to help each other move forward. It also means being honest with your customers, setting realistic expectations together, and always having a shared desire to achieve the best possible results.
Finally, if you could choose any person in the world to have dinner with, who would it be and why?
I would like to have dinner with Elon Musk. His journey is remarkable, and even though he has become a bit of an odd figure lately, I think the conversation would be incredibly rewarding and memorable.
Would you like to get in touch with Henrik
