The Sixth Technological Wave: Jacek Kubrak on the Future of DeepTech, AI, and Space
In the latest episode of the Euvic Talks podcast, Jacek Kubrak, one of Poland’s most experienced technology investors, shares an uncompromising diagnosis of the global economy. His conversation with Bartosz Śliwa offers a deep analysis of the forces that will shape the balance of power on the innovation map over the next decade.
Key topics covered:
- The Sixth Kondratiev Wave and the innovation slowdown
Jacek Kubrak argues that today’s technology ecosystem is built on last-century solutions wrapped in modern UX. The upcoming sixth wave marks the era of DeepTech, where time-to-market will shrink from over a decade to just 24–36 months, driven by the use of AI in fundamental research. - Quantum Computing: The age of simulation
Learn why quantum computers won’t be used for “calculation” but for simulating reality—from DNA structures to new metal alloys—fundamentally transforming industries and medicine. - The geopolitics of innovation: The Draghi report and Poland
The guest critically assesses EU development strategies, warning of a model in which Central and Eastern European countries are reduced to providers of low-cost labor for advanced Western hubs. - Humans in the age of AI: Critical thinking as a future skill
In a world of “synthetic information” and algorithmic manipulation, Jacek Kubrak highlights three key competencies: the ability to think critically, self-awareness, and maintaining health across multiple dimensions.
