Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Europa is an insurance company focused on modern protection solutions for both individual and business clients. It provides flexible insurance products tailored to the needs of the banking and financial sectors.
Challenge_
Insurance Company Europa faced the challenge of building an effective and user-friendly solution that would handle the sales and management of insurance policies they offered.
The web application was designed to serve both individual customers and insurance company partners. One of the basic requirements of our Client was to design system functionality that would enable the design and registration of new and modification of existing insurance products without requiring the involvement of an IT service provider.
The solution also had to ensure full integration with many existing internal systems of the Company and provide seamless data exchange between systems managing investment funds.

Solution_
In response to the Client’s needs and requirements, we designed from scratch and created a transactional portal enabling the sale and management of TU Europa products. The portal was implemented with a broad group of users in mind: individual customers, employees and insurance company partners (agents).
The solution we created includes the following modules:
1: Sales Module
A module available to individual customers and intermediaries cooperating with TU Europa. It enables registration and printing of insurance applications and provides the option to view policies of their customers. It was integrated with an online payment system (formerly DotPay, currently PayU), which allows immediate payment of the policy by individual customers.
2: Product Management and Application Processing Module
A module enabling intuitive product definition, including determination of the application form and print, as well as product parameters such as sales date and documents related to the product. Additionally, this module provides the option to assign a product to a specific intermediary and define application statuses and perform transition operations between statuses.
3: Sales Structure Management
This module provides the ability to add intermediaries and their branches. The system enables intermediary administrators to manage their own organizational structure in terms of creating branches and employees and assigning them appropriate permissions. The solution also provides generation of recurring reports such as sales statistics.
4: Customer Service (Insured Customers)
Insured customers receive with this module the option to view their personal data, list and details of policies (policy value and individual funds) and history of submitted dispositions. The system enables authorized users to perform specific operations on a policy or application on behalf of the customer.
The portal created by us was integrated with existing TU Europa systems and the BackOffice system in terms of data exchange, including transmission of submitted applications, receipt of information about policies, their current status, exchange of information about submitted dispositions for a policy or application, and payment confirmations. In accordance with the Client’s requirement, portals support RWD.
Since its implementation in 2008, we have consistently provided maintenance and further development services of the portal and administrative system we created online 24/7, ensuring application availability at the level of 99.9% annually.
