DPD is one of the leading courier companies in Europe, specializing in domestic and international deliveries. It offers a wide range of logistics services and modern parcel tracking solutions, ensuring fast and reliable deliveries.
Challenge_
The DPD Group, part of the GeoPost holding, is one of the largest international courier companies. When they came to us with a major challenge, we did not hesitate to take it on. DPD was looking for a contractor for long-term cooperation, which was to start with taking over an existing system from the current subcontractor (due to its resource capabilities, the subcontractor was unable to continue cooperation).
The existing system was critical to the functioning of the Client’s business and was used for managing shipment flow and billing packages. Therefore, the Client was looking for a trusted Partner. Another goal of the Client was also to increase development potential and introduce more efficient standards for system maintenance and development.

Solution_
We conducted a multidimensional and complex process involving knowledge and documentation transfer from the previous supplier within a specified short timeframe of 4 months and in a manner transparent to the end client. To ensure this stage proceeded smoothly, we conducted workshops with the existing maintenance contractor both in Poland and in Turkey at the contractor’s headquarters. At the same time, the takeover was completed without delays in project development. The entire process involved deep analysis of a dispersed system, conducted in various languages and functioning in multiple cultures, which required modernization and documentation updates.
We took over full support of the existing DPD system, fully ensuring continuity of operations across Europe. During the takeover and familiarization with this critical solution, we simultaneously focused on its analysis and creation of DPD development proposals. The Client, seeing in this step an opportunity for change that would enable development and competitive advantage in the logistics market, decided to continue cooperation with us for system maintenance and development. Together with the Client, we have been developing their system with new modules, functionalities, and integrations with new systems for over a dozen years.
