Challenge_

Due to the service’s growth, Euvic Group faced two significant challenges. First, the increase in service tasks meant that the efficiency of parts delivery to technicians needed to be improved to efficiently carry out repairs. Second, the larger quantity of parts translated into the need to increase warehouse space, and consequently, implement greater control over parts. We identified the above issues that required addressing. Therefore, a decision was made to improve the service’s operations. The goal was clear – to create a solution that would help control and improve parts logistics.

The answer to who to create such a solution with was obvious. Euvic Group’s software house and service united their forces to work towards improving the logistics of the growing service. 

We proceeded to conduct a situation analysis and presented our recommendations that would improve the functioning of processes not only on the logistics side, but also the entire service. We created a dedicated system to handle the logistics and warehouse process at every stage. A key element of this system is the introduction of barcodes on parts and warehouse spaces, which are handled using scanners with a dedicated application written by us.

Our solution includes the following functionalities: 

• monitoring and full control of warehouse inventory levels along with complete information on where specific equipment/parts are located in the warehouse 
• providing information about part reservations in warehouse inventory 
• notifying about the need to place orders for new parts 
• notifying about package receipt at the warehouse and equipment delivery 
• simplifying the process of completing parts for a given service order 
• receiving and handling used parts from technicians 
• handling disposal of used parts 
• integration with the accounting system (creating warehouse documents) 
• integration with the courier system (generating waybills) 

Result_

Due to our works, dedicated system for handling the logistics process was developed. The implementation of the Neologis solution enabled increased efficiency of service logistics work, while simultaneously increasing the volume of requests, and consequently, parts. Moreover, thanks to increased logistics efficiency, Grupa Euvic can offer higher-standard services at competitive rates.
