Our client was one of the largest insurance companies in Poland – Aviva. The Aviva brand no longer operates as an independent company on the Polish market, as it was acquired by Allianz in 2021 and has since become an integral part of the group.

Challenge_

Our client faced the challenge of creating a portal to support sales and after-sales service of various types of insurance through multiple sales channels (agents, insurance agencies, brokers, financial institutions). The solution was intended to enable the sales process from providing necessary product information, through calculations, preparation and customization of offers to clients, to finalizing insurance contracts in the form of policy printouts. The client also expected full digitization of sales processes and document flow, aiming to reduce the costs of managing printouts and sending paper documents. The challenge was to handle multiple sales channels, which would ultimately increase sales. We took on the challenge of creating a solution dedicated to our Client’s needs.

Solution_

In response to our Client Aviva’s needs, we created Web Portal, a solution that supports sales and service of various types of insurance products for agents and partners cooperating with Aviva.

Our solution provides agents and insurance partners with access to Aviva’s complete insurance offer along with necessary information materials, allowing them to perform calculations and prepare detailed offers for clients. The Web Portal also supports employees in after-sales service by providing them with client data and information about their insurance products. As a result, agents can monitor insurance progress, responding to important events such as premium indexations, policy renewals, or claims. Additionally, agents have the necessary data to propose new products to protect other areas of the insured client’s life.

The system we implemented provides a calendar module that allows planning an agent’s workday and, in a broader perspective, helps managers monitor work progress and manage the team. In the case of insurance agencies, the system also offers cash payment handling, which facilitates payment settlement between the agency and Aviva Company.

Result_

The implementation of the Web Portal system streamlined the daily work of insurance agents and Partners cooperating with Aviva and contributed to increased sales by providing a tool across multiple sales channels. Additionally, the implementation of electronic document flow allowed reducing costs associated with managing printouts and sending paper documents. Integration with Aviva’s product systems reduced manual work and the need for corrections, which improved efficiency and accelerated the process of finalizing insurance contracts.
