Challenge
The primary audience for the https://www.frankporter.com/ service comprises apartment owners entrusting their properties to Frankporter for maintenance. Consequently, there was a critical need to incorporate features that would enable the service to operate effectively even with a less robust internet connection, thereby guaranteeing reliability and safeguarding security.
Up until now, the website had been built on the WordPress content management system (CMS), and pages were constructed using page builders, leading to subpar performance in both User Experience and when assessed through Google or GTmetrix tools.
Solution
Our experts chose WordPress as a Headless CMS, with the frontend constructed using the NextJS and ReactJS framework. The entire setup was hosted on AWS, leveraging CloudFront for architectural support. This approach significantly boosted website speed, maintaining a turnaround time comparable to traditional websites.
Collaborating with an external SEO firm, our UX team played a crucial role in designing an SEO-friendly architecture and user experience. This, in turn, led to a favorable SEO audit, while content administration and editing were made significantly more user-friendly. Additionally, a helpdesk system was put in place to address any potential WordPress machine failures.
